1. Parties

These Terms of Use are a contract between you (“you”, “customer”) and On a Mission BV, a company registered in Belgium (VAT BE 0700.423.736, registered office Vogelheide 33, 9052 Gent, Belgium), which operates the EOS AVIATION brand and the Sentinel product line worldwide (“we”, “us”, “On a Mission BV”), including the fly-eos.com dashboard, the Sentinel companion app, and the Sentinel hardware device (together, the “Service”).

By purchasing a Sentinel device, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Sentinel is a flight-data platform for General Aviation: a hardware sensor that records flight parameters (GPS, altitude, inertial data, and engine RPM derived from audio) and uploads them to a cloud dashboard, where they are scored and presented to you and, where applicable, your fleet manager or flight school.

3. Sentinel is not a certified flight instrument

Sentinel is a supplemental, informational tool. It is not a certified aircraft instrument, not airworthiness equipment, and not a substitute for any required instrument, checklist, maintenance inspection, or pilot judgment. Data shown in the dashboard or app — including flight scores, alerts, and landing-quality grades — is for informational and training purposes only and must never be the sole basis for a safety-critical decision, a maintenance decision, or an assessment of aircraft airworthiness. You remain solely responsible for the safe operation of your aircraft and for compliance with all applicable aviation regulations.

4. Eligibility & installation

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to install equipment in, or operate, the relevant aircraft. Installation or mounting of the Sentinel device in an aircraft is entirely your responsibility, including ensuring it does not interfere with certified avionics and complies with any applicable portable-electronic-device policy of your aircraft operator, flight school, or civil aviation authority.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@fly-eos.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Orders, pricing & payment

Prices are shown in EUR (or another supported currency at checkout) and include applicable VAT where shown. Sentinel hardware is typically sold as a one-time purchase; the dashboard and cloud service are provided under a recurring subscription per device, billed as described at checkout. Payment is processed by our payment processor; see our Privacy Policy for how payment data is handled.

7. Right of withdrawal for EU consumers

If you are a consumer purchasing from within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the hardware, without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU. To exercise this right, contact support@fly-eos.com before the period expires. You may lose this right for digital services (such as dashboard access) once you have expressly asked us to start providing them and, where applicable, acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right for that part of the Service.

8. Subscription & cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically for the period shown at checkout unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing support@fly-eos.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by law.

9. Shipping

Risk in the hardware passes to you on delivery to the shipping address you provided. Shipping times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the device firmware or the integrity of recorded flight data with intent to deceive another person (e.g. an instructor, employer, or insurer);
  • Use the Service to record audio or other data of third parties without the consent required by applicable law;
  • Resell or share access to your account or dashboard without our written consent;
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

11. Intellectual property & your data

The Sentinel firmware, software, dashboard, app, and branding remain the property of On a Mission BV. You own your flight data. By using the Service you grant us a licence to process that data as needed to provide the Service (storage, scoring, display). We may use aggregated or de-identified data (from which you cannot reasonably be identified) to improve our scoring algorithms and the Service generally.

12. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and may suspend or modify features, with reasonable notice where practical.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Belgian law. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. In particular, we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on Sentinel data in a manner inconsistent with Section 3 above.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription as described in Section 8. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, your right to access the dashboard ends; we retain your flight data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Ghent, Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
